The Board of Supervisors of Franklin Township Butler County will conduct a road inspection on Wednesday, April 4, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Board of Supervisors of Franklin Township, Butler County has scheduled a public hearing on April 16, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. at the Franklin Township Municipal Building to receive public comment on the Davis Demolition and Excavation LLC/Adam Davis and Renee N Davis petition for Conditional Uses for a Heavy Equipment Repair & Business and a Principal Storage Yard as required by Zoning Ordinance No. 97, Articles III and IV. The property is located at 826 Unionville Road, Prospect and is tax i.d. 170-4F21-9EC. It consists of 4 acres in the I Industrial zoning district. A copy of the petition may be examined at the Municipal Building, 191 Election House Road, Prospect, PA, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Sealed bids will be received by Franklin Township, Butler County, 191 Election House Road, Prospect, PA 16052, 724-865-2412, until 2:00 pm on April 11, 2018 for the following items, in their respective approximate amounts, delivered to the township:
1) 300 tons AASHTO 2A limestone
2) 150 tons AASHTO 3 limestone
3) 100 tons AASHTO R-4 limestone rip rap
Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by Franklin Township and must be clearly marked “Bid Proposal for Materials”. Successful bidder must supply a performance bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract. Specifications are available at the township office. Bids will be publicly opened April 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The bids will not be awarded until the Supervisors’ meeting on April 16, 2018 at 7:00 pm. The Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to accept that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of Franklin Township. The Supervisors also reserve the right to delete any line item for budgetary reasons.
